The evolution of future universities highly depends on the current initiatives, policies and professional faculty development programs. This study is an attempt to examine the expected faculty members’ competencies for the next decade from doctoral students’ viewpoint. The studied sample consisted of full-time doctoral students of Shiraz University in the academic year of 92-93 214 students were randomly selected according to their gender and fields of study for the survey. The research instrument was a questionnaire constructed by the researcher. The results showed that according to doctoral students, the most expected competency on the part of faculty members in the following decade, would be research competency, however, currently their teaching competency is more favorable than others. Furthermore, this study revealed a huge gap between the current and the desired situations as far as teaching, research, counseling services and collaborative with colleagues competencies are concerned. A significant correlation was found between the different dimensions of faculty members’ competencies. This study can inspire the policy-makers of professional faculty development at Iranian universities by the suggestions offered finally. Manuscript profile

The study population consisted of members Lmy‌ above, and managers and experts Tabataba'i University, which included 413 and 124 people. In this study, initially through extensive theoretical study and previous research at national and international, related resources aimed at Allameh Tabataba'i University and on the pattern Vlkvayn (1999), Challenges, obstacles to the realization of University Scholarships at Allameh Tabataba'i University in six areas: a) academic culture, b) structural Mdyryty- c) scientific and professional, d) financial credit, e) rights and legal) IT has been identified on the basis model of causal research is explained. Then, based on the identified challenges and the integration of the questionnaire in this regard, Mhqq‌Sakhth research questionnaire has been developed. Then, face and content validity of the instrument, through interviews with 12 experts in the field and determine the validity of this instrument, and acknowledged the challenges identified in the implementation of research at the University of Allameh Tabatabba'I University and model Ali about it, through confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling carried out. It should be noted that the above reliability using Cronbach's alpha coefficient, equal to 95/0 calculated. The results showed that all the identified challenges posed by the respondents approved Mdyryty- structural challenges than other challenges, from their perspective, has been a higher priority. Furthermore, the results suggest that differences in points of view in the two groups of respondents in relation to the challenges identified, segregated schools and organizational position, has been observed. In this study, we tried to identify the individual factors influencing in the commercialization of university of research. This research approach, a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods.  In the qualitative section with thematic analysis, the main themes have been extracted by a semi-structured interview with experts in the field of commercialization and faculty members by using snowball sampling. In the quantitative part, a descriptive survey and factor analysis and path analysis by using a questionnaire were used. The statistical population of the study was professors of the Faculty of Environment at the University of Tehran and its validity was obtained through a panel of experts and its reliability was obtained by modeling structural equations. Their reliability coefficient is 0.838 with Cronbach's alpha. The results indicated that 9 issues of experience and knowledge, basic skills, creativity, ethics, motivational, human resource development, human resources, accountability, participation and communication network was identified and then the three main indices, professional, human resource management and interactive classification respectively. Then it was tested and verified with a quantitative method which indicates the important role of human resources professionals and committed to the commercialization of the research university. Abstract The present study aimed at designing the internal factors model for promoting universities in national and international Rankings through exploratory mixed method. The statistical population in the qualitative section included policymakers and experts in higher education, university administrators and faculty members who were selected through targeted sampling and 17 interviewes were done. Also, in the quantitative section of the statistical society, 600 university administrators ,state universities of Tehran, among which 302 people by Stratified random sampling method were selected. The data in the qualitative section were analyzed through semi-structured interviews and in the quantitative section, a researcher-made questionnaire was extracted from the statistical sample and analyzed using spss and smart-pls software. Validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by experts and a divergent and convergent validity test. The reliability of the questionnaire was also calculated using Cronbach's alpha and Composite Reliability software. According to the findings, the intra-university factors of university promotion can respectively  be classified into eight factors including: good governance, quality assurance system, human resources productivity, administrative health, regional development, university autonomy, IT infrastructure and educational facilities.   Manuscript profile

The main purpose of this study is to use Falcon's artificial neural networks and fuzzy inference system to designing an IOT-based business model in the field of telemedicine at the National Institute of Medical Research Development of Iran. In fact, the research fatigue of NIMAD decision makers and physicians can be explained by the combination of different ways of designing an IOT-based business model in the field of telemedicine, and the need to use the T-MEDICINE+IOT.F-ANFIS system to increase confidence and reliability in Decision making, as well as the issue of the need for multiple expertise through the simultaneous use of multi-disciplinary knowledge of different areas to solve the problem of designing an internet of things-based business model in the field of telemedicine. In this study, the Matlab R2017b programming environment was applied to design an Expert system based on Falcon neural networks. Finally, using the T-MEDICINE+IOT.F-ANFIS system outputs, the status of "IOT-based business model in the field of telemedicine" can be analyzed based on variables such as the use of the IOT in telemedicine; the ability to managing devices; The position of the IOT networks; the security of the IOT; the degree of familiarity with the analysis of the uses of the IOT; In fact, the final difference between the analysis of the outputs of the Expert system based on Falcon neuro-fuzzy system of this study, and the average views of Telemedicine physicians and IOT-based business model specialists, It is not significant and it equals to 0.065. Nowadays, various knowledge-based companies (KBCs) have been formed in science and technology incubators to commercialize ideas in Iran. If these companies fail to achieve the desired growth, their losses for incubators and the country will be doubled. The purpose of the study was to develop a model for the growth of KBCs to determine the indicators of entry into incubators, growth stages of under studied KBCs and also to determine the features of each growth stage. The incubators of IROST and the Science and Technology Park (STP) of Guilan Province were selected as the case of study and a mixed research method was adopted. Data were collected through two instruments including interview and questionnaire. In the qualitative phase, 43 interviews and in the quantitative phase, 75 questionnaires were applied. Data analysis in qualitative and quantitative phases was performed using MAXQDA10 and SPSS25 software, respectively. The results showed that the indicators of entry into incubators were divided into three levels: individual, company and Incubator, so that the indicators of company level and incubator were the most and the least important, respectively. Based on the findings of the growth stages of KBCs, there are 4 stages including "center of prosperity and creativity", "pre-growth or initial growth or research core or technology core", "medium growth or growth or technology unit" and "post-growth or high growth or tenant unit" were identified. The findings of this study can help managers in making their policy in supporting KBCs at different stages of their growth Manuscript profile
